Festival International des Jeux – Cannes is here again with tons of events for everyone including illustrator autograph sessions, tournaments and more!
The Festival International des Jeux – Cannes 2024 will be starting next week on 23rd February with lots of activities for everyone, including open play events, tournaments, sealed / draft tournaments and more!

Steve Warner & Ryan Miller Appearance
Steve Warner, Ravensburger’s Game Design Manager and co-designer with Ryan Miller for the Disney Lorcana TCG will be attending the event! No further details are given for when he will be attending, aside that he “might be available at certain times at one of the tables”, at the Open Play events.
Ryan Miller, Ravensburger’s Brand Manager and also Disney Lorcana TCG co-designer has been confirmed to attend the event as well! Currently he is confirmed to be attending the interaction event on 24 February, more details shared below.
Both Steve Warner and Ryan Miller have participated in multiple conventions in the past such as GAMA Expo and Spiel Essen, in which they have interacted and even played some games with the players.
Steve Warner also answers rulings very regularly, such as this latest ruling given for Jafar – Striking Illusionist, so meeting him on the release day of Into the Inklands makes this the perfect opportunity for you to clarify any of your burning questions!
Autograph Sessions
2 illustrators have been confirmed for the event, including Koni and Jochem van Gool. Both of these illustrators have handled multiple cards for Into the Inklands, with some examples as follows:
Both illustrators will be available at the stand between 1pm to 3.30pm where they will be available to sign cards!
Event Prizes
Prizes are abundant for event participants. Into the Inklands products, the Disney 100 Collector’s Set, the prize playmat that was first given out at Gen Con 2023, and the Rise of the Floodborn Convention promotional cards will be available at the event!

Aside from these prizes, the prizes for the events also mention “Set 3 promo card and pin” to be given out.
Scrooge McDuck – Uncle Moneybags will bethe set 3 promo card to be given out during events, while one of the events mentions Mickey pins, which presumably refers to the Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor pin though this is currently unconfirmed.

Do note that to start the events on time, all participants for tournaments are requested to arrive between 9am to 9.55am. Access to the tournament area will be possible only from 10am onwards.
Tournament tickets will need to be purchased at the Tournament Center event site prior to the event (Reminder that all participants will still need to get their own festival tickets to participant in the festival)
