I am definitely envious and jealous of folks in London. They are getting another launch event!
shopDisneyUK has announced a launch event for Rise of the Floodborn!
On November 17, starting from 11am – 6pm, the Disney Store based in Oxford Street, London will be playing host to Disney Lorcana once again!
Furthermore, the post states that people who spend £15 on Disney Lorcana on that day would receive a limited-edition Gaston promo card, while stocks last. This promo card is likely Gaston – Arrogant Hunter, the same promotional card given out so far for at MCM ComicCon and Lucca Comic & Games.
In addition, Illustrator Matthew Robert Davies will be attending the event as well to sign cards! Check out here to see the many cards he has done for The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn!
Matthrew Robert Davies has shared on his personal instagram that his signing session will last from 11.30am to 4pm. Due to limited time, he will only be signing 1 card from Rise of the Floodborn and 1 Gaston promo card per person, and it will have to be personalised autographs, similar to the new regulations for illustrators started recently from Lucca Comic & Games.
He also states that he will not be signing any booster boxes, so as to encourage as many cards to be in circulation as possible.
This event is similar to the launch event for The First Chapter, where Matthew Robert Davies attended the event as well. London Illumineers are definitely very lucky to have such an event!
