Info on the next set championship is out, with Ursula promo cards ready to be won. Keep your July calendar clear!
Retailers have just received information regarding the next set championship, with this picture that we first spotted on the Lorcana TCG Facebook group!
Prizes provided are the exact same as the Into the Inklands Championship, and we expect the prize distribution to be similar with the following.
- Champion: Champion Ursula – Sea Witch Queen Playmat
- 2nd place: Runner-up Ursula – Sea Witch Queen Playmat
- Top 4: 1 copy of the alternate art Ursula – Sea Witch Queen promo card
In addition, the schedule for the Ursula’s Return Championship have been opened up with a much more relaxed schedule.
Back with the Into the Inklands Championship, the events had to be held within a period of 2 weeks in late April. With Ursula’s Return Championship, the events must be held on either Saturday or Sunday, and all 4 weekends are available to be chosen.
This is an improvement, as there were stores who were unable to run their events during a 2 week period, so opening the event up to 4 weeks definitely makes it easier to plan the event. This also gives more opportunities to players who hope to participate in multiple events for a better chance to win a copy of the much coveted promo card. How many do you hope to attend?
