Looks like Lorcana will be heading Down Under in 2024!!
This was first spotted by the one and only Citizens of Lorcana!
Matthias Schoessler, International Sales Director at Ravensburger first posted this picture on February 11, with a Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor cut out where the ability box states “Welcome to the World of Lorcana. Coming to ANZ in 2024”, which seems to indicate that Lorcana will be released in Australia and New Zealand later this year.
The photo appears to be taken at the Melbourne Toy Fair 2024, which is held by the Australia Toy’s Association. Ravensburger is listed as 1 of the brands carried in the Modern Brands booth, where their description states they are the “exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand for world-leading Retail Brands including Ravensburger”.
In addition, Lorcana won the Australia Toy Association’s “Judges’ Choice Kidult Award (12+) – NEW TO 2023” award, which was also awarded yesterday on February 11 at the gala event held by the Australia Toy Association.
