Gen Con 2023 is about to come to an end, with prizes given out for the Gen Con Finale event including the very first release of the Illumineer’s Troves!
The Gen Con Finale event has just completed and we now know the prizes included inside thanks to 1 of the top 8 winners MoBogsly!
The top 8 winners of all the Starter Deck Challenge events held at Gen Con were invited to the Finale event where they took part in a Sealed Deck event.
The players were given 6 booster packs which they used to build a deck with a minimum of 40 cards with no Ink limitations.
The top 8 winners of the Gen Con Finale event received a playmat, similar to the one they received for getting top 8 at the Gen Con Starter Deck Challenge event but signed by 4 people.
In addition, they also received:
- A Ravensburger bag
- 1 pack of The First Chapter Sleeves
- 1 Deck Box
- 1 The First Chapter Starter Deck
- 9 The First Chapter Booster Packs
- 1 set of The First Chapter Illumineer’s Trove
- 2 copies of Mickey Mouse – Musketeer (Gen Con 2023)
On an addition note, the Illumineer’s Trove was not available for sale at the Gen Con 2023 booth, so the 8 winners are holding the only officially available copies of The First Chapter Illumineer’s Trove, up till the official release in LGS on August 18, 2023.
