In addition, Richelle from Lorcana also confirmed that Prince John gives you the same amount of card draw as the opponent discards even if it is just a single ability. For example if A Whole New World is played, you would first draw 7 cards from A Whole New World, followed by the amount of cards that the opponent discarded through the effect of A Whole New World.
