Bochum Lorcana Challenge Switches To 3 Day Event

That’s 1 way to increase the player cap. Add another day! Bochum registration starts this Friday!

The Disney Lorcana Challenge (DLC) Bochum event starts next month and registration for the event opens this Friday!

According to Tournament Center, the tournament organiser for Challenges in Europe, the Bochum main event will include 2 days of Swiss rounds, both at 1,024 players for each flight. This gives the event a grand total of 2,048 player cap!

Players will only be allowed to play in either the Friday or Saturday flight, and not both.

The top 32 players of both Friday and Saturday will then be combined to form the top 64 players who will play in the single-elimination rounds on Sunday.

The 2,048 competitor tickets, along with another 100 attendee tickets will go on sale starting this Friday at 20:00 CEST. Ticket holders will be able to attend the venue at all times and attend side events, though the side event schedule is currently pending.

In additional information on the official event site, early check-in has been moved to Thursday, between 16:00 and 19:00 hours. Players who do not do early check-in will only be able to do so on the day of their Main Event Flight between 8:00 and 8:30. Failing to check in will impact your ability to participate in the Main Event.

This latest update helps to increase the player cap, though it could make it a rather long weekend as the Lorcana Challenge extends to 3 days. Even if you are playing for the main event on Friday, you will want to attend the event on Saturday, just for side events and a chance to get some of those sweet Challenge promo cards and playmat prizes!

Will you be attending the Bochum Challenge? If so, which day will you prefer to take part in for the main event?
