D23 is coming and Lorcana fans should definitely plan a visit to the Ravensburger booth there, or to various Disney spots around the world on August 9th! We’re getting Oswald!
D23 is one of the biggest event for Disney Lorcana, and it was also the event where players first got access to Disney Lorcana cards!
Back in D23 2022, Ravensburger first released Disney Lorcana cards at the event. Visitors to the booth could receive a D23 copy of the Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor card along with a pin, while a limited amount of a D23 Expo 2022 Collection Set was sold at the event.
The set included 6 cards and 300 sets were sold daily over the 3 day event for $50 each. Those cards are now the most valued cards in Disney Lorcana, with each individual card going for thousands of dollars.
Now, it looks like we could be getting a new collector set in this year’s D23 event!
D23 recently released an exclusive merchandise and shopping page that shares info on various products at the 2024 event.
Regarding Lorcana, 1 single line is mentioned stating:
“Fans of Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game will have access to a limited-edition D23 Collection set at Ravensburger’s booth on the show floor”
In a press release related to the product also being available in Paris and other regions (more on that later), the collection set has been revealed! It will include 6 fan favorite foil cards revisited with expanded artwork:
- Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor
- Cinderella – Stouthearted
- Ursula – Deceiver
- Bruno Madrigal – Undetected Uncle
- Vanellope von Schweetz – Sugar Rush Princess
- Oswald – The Lucky Rabbit

However in a post by French media outlet Disneyphile, Disneyland Paris will be carrying this product as well!
The product will be available in the World of Disney store inside Disneyland Paris on August 9, and there will be a limit to 5 sets per transaction.
The Disney Lorcana team has also announced on Discord that they will be available at the following locations.
- United States: Disney Store Times Square, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort
- United Kingdom: Disney Store Oxford, Disney Store Dublin
- France: Disneyland Paris
- Australia: Disney Store Pop-up Experience, Melbourne (available August 9-21, 2024, while supplies last)
The set will cost $99.99 USD/£100 EUR/AUD $174.99, for the various outlets.
Note: At D23, customers will be limited to purchasing only 2 sets per customer.
Fans visiting the D23 booth will also be eligible to receive free promos, including a D23 Disney Lorcana TCG Mickey Mouse – Playful Sorcerer promo card and a Disney Lorcana TCG 1st Anniversary Mickey Mouse pin while supplies last.
This set looks awesome and you can definitely expect a mad rush for the D23 booth, and to the other locations worldwide, as Disney Lorcana fans all over the world will rush over to try to get their hands on one.
With the many locations having this for sale, hopefully there will be a much more substantial amount available for the players, since I definitely hope to get one for myself!
