Looking to get a few games in from the comforts of your house on webcam but not sure where to find an opponent? This latest initiative from the community is what you need!
Real Play Network is an initiative that has been in the works over the past few months by the community’s very own Jonti (The Inkwell) & BSquared24 (BSquared24). Jonti and BSquared24 have been involved in the community for a long time, most recently even casting in the Disney Lorcana Challenge held in Atlanta.
At its essence, Real Play Network aims to create a community that facilitates playing with real cards over webcam to better connect players across the globe.
This is an especially useful initiative for anyone who has cards and just wants to get a few games in, be it to test your latest deck idea, or to even prepare for an event, such as Disney Lorcana Challenge in Chicago going on this weekend! You can join Real Play Network’s server here.
Real Play Network primarily operates over Discord where there are multiple options available to make rooms for games, be it public or private rooms. Tournaments can even be hosted on the server as well, with plans currently in progress for tournaments and even themed nights to be held.
Currently, Founders’ Week is underway where players who play a webcam game in the server and submit a screenshot will get a Founders role in the server to commemorate your involvement as one of the first members as part of the server.
