We got the Set Championship promo too, and it comes with a new icon!
First up, we got a double enchanted reveal whammy!
Hiro Hamada – Armor Designer will come in 2 versions for Archazia’s Island. First, you can get his typical enchanted version (left) from booster packs. Alternatively, you can get the version on the right if you make top 8 at a Archazia’s Island set championship!
Sharp eyed Illumineers will also notice the logo on the set championship version has changed from the previous organized play promo rarity symbol.
to the rarity symbol that were previously found only on challenge event promo cards.
With the Japanese and Simplified-Chinese launch in January 2025, their The First Chapter organised play promo cards were changed to use a different rarity symbol, compared to what was previously used for the initial launch, as seen from Mickey Mouse – Detective above.
Now, that gyro rarity symbol has similarly appeared on Hiro Hamada – Armor Designer, a set championship promo, which brought about some questions on the official Discord.
Richelle from Ravensburger quickly confirmed that the gyro rarity symbol is the updated organized play rarity symbol. With that, it looks like the gyro will similarly be used in the OP kits as well, starting from Archazia’s Island.
