We got so much info at the D23 Expo 2024 Lorcana panel, with news on the year end Championship events, prize cards, set 6 info and much more! Here’s everything we got at the event!
If you haven’t heard, the D23 Expo 2024 is going on this weekend, where tons of Lorcana fans have already gathered to get their hands on the D23 Collection Set at the Disney Lorcana booth.
That’s not everything going on though, as there was a panel held earlier today, where they covered everything that Disney Lorcana has achieved thus far, along with news of upcoming products and events. Milestones
It has been just about a year since Disney Lorcana has been released, starting off with The First Chapter released in August 2023. 1 year later, here’s everything that Disney Lorcana has achieved!
- 1 billion cards sold in the first year!
- All places that Disney Lorcana is currently (and soon will be) available at, with China and Japan on the map!
Some other stats include:
- 400,000 downloads for the official companion app
- 15,000 members on the official Discord
- 170,000 users interacting across all social media platforms
- 100,000+ players participate globally in events
- 5,000+ local game stores supporting organized play
- 76,000+ organized play events
- 700,000+ event entries

Regional Championships
We have updates on where the North American Championship and the European Championship will be held!
- European Championship will be held at Disneyland Paris Resort in December 2024
- North American Championship will be held at Disneyland Resort California in January 2025
The gold Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor prize cards with a serialized number will all be given out over time.
That said, there will be a special 1/1 version of the little tailor with the words “World Champion 2025” inscribed on it for the World Champion!!
There will also be an alternate art version of A Whole New World that will be given out to everyone participating in the World Championships! For the people who do not get invited, there will also be other ways to obtain this card.
In addition, the Disney Lorcana World Championship will be held at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2025!
Disney Lorcana Quest
A brand new event series for fans will be starting soon in the US and Europe!
The event is for the Disney fan, with a focus on co-op play and activities, including quests to do in the Disney parks. The Disney Lorcana community will meet up to have fun activities and just have a great day.
In addition, there will be signable text free cards for the fans, and Disney characters may be present at some of these events to sign the cards!
Future Product News
We got some reveals for set 6, which feature Mickey Mouse and friends…. As PIRATES!!
Also, we are getting the Rescue Rangers, finally coming in set 6!!
Black Cauldron (Which I definitely need to go watch now) will be coming to Lorcana in 2025
While Pocahontas will be coming in 2026!
And finally we have Pixar also confirmed for 2026!!
Everyone at the panel also walks away with the Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor 1 year anniversary pin, the Mickey Mouse – Playful Sorcerer promo card, and a booster pack!
