Fanfinity, the tournament organiser for Europe events has just released the details for the upcoming European Championship! Here’s everything you need to know!

Slot Entry
To allow as many Disney fans as possible the opportunity to attend the event, attendees will be split into multiple slots.
Saturday (7 December 2024)
10:00 – 14:00: First Spectator Session
15:00 – 19:00: Second Spectator Session
Sunday (8 December 2024)
10:00 – 14:00: First Spectator Session
15:00 – 19:00: Second Spectator Session
During each slot, attendees will be able to spectate and enjoy different exclusive Disney Lorcana experiences and activities. More details about the activities will be released at a later time.

Attendees will have access to the hall based on the slot they booked.
Note: Children under the age of 12 may enter free of charge while accompanied by a ticketed adult (18+).
*** Each play voucher allows you to play Advanced constructed with your own deck, or Pack Rush. This is considered casual play – you will get 2 boosters per Voucher and the winner will receive 1 additional booster

Last Chance Qualifier
The Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) are your very last chance to earn an invitation to the European Championship Main Event!
Format: Core constructed, Single Elimination, Best of 3
Players: 32 player pods
Champion prize: Qualification to the European Championship Main Event
Timings:
There will be two slots, one AM & one PM. Each slot will have 16 flights of 32-player single-elimination tournaments (a total of 512 seats per time slot), that will start at the same time. Each slot will qualify 16 people to the Main Event. The LCQ will qualify a total of 32 players to the European Championship.

Qualified players and their +1 will have access to the Main hall and the Competitor Rest Area all weekend long.
Structure
Players in each time slot (AM or PM) will be assigned to a 32-player pod and play 5 rounds. The winners of each pod will qualify to the weekend’s Main Event, the European Championship. Each slot will qualify 16 people to the Main Event. The LCQ will qualify a total of 32 players to the European Championship.
Those who are eliminated in the first 2 Rounds of their 32-player pod will be automatically eligible for a free side event of their choice (core constructed or pack rush), which will run at the same time as the remaining LCQ rounds. Players eliminated in round 3 or later, will not be able to take part in the free side event, but will instead receive 3 additional Play Vouchers for the Saturday.
Side Event 1
This event kicks off after the first round of the LCQ.
All participants not progressing are automatically registered. It features two rounds of core constructed play, with each game win rewarding 5 boosters, allowing for a total of up to 20 boosters. Ties grant 2 boosters each. Pairings may vary from traditional swiss-style to ensure smooth event operations.
Side Event 2
The side event starts after the second round of the LCQ.
Participants who are out after round two automatically join, but players from Side Event 1 are excluded. It consists of a single round with two games, awarding 10 boosters for each game win and 5 for tied games.
Prizes
Each player participating in the LCQ will receive a Dragon Fire promo card. The winner of each pod will qualify for the Main Event and will receive the Spectator portion of the LCQ ticket refunded after the event.
Eligibility
Ilumineers already qualified for the European Championship will not be able to play in the LCQ.
European Championship Main Event
At the center stage of the European Championship, we have the Disney Lorcana Challenge Main Event. All year long, Illumineers have competed for a seat at the table of this first exclusive invitational event!
Details on the Championship format, promos, and prizing will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for this info!
In addition to the Illumineers who qualified through the past 4 European Challenges, we still have 32 slots for this event which will be assigned during the Friday Last Chance Qualifiers!
Disney Lorcana Quest
Explore the Disney Lorcana Quest area at the Disney Lorcana Challenge European Championship. Each visitor gets a special passport on entry, guiding them through a series of Disney activities and challenges.
Illumineers who engage in these challenges will collect stamps as they explore the Disney Lorcana Quest area. Fill out your passport, and you’ll receive an additional reward. Join the fun and engage in an unforgettable experience!
Mention of this event and the passport was removed, though there is now a series of fun activities such as meet and greet with a Disney character, pack rush and more.
