Back in August, we had reported that Disney Lorcana has announced a reprint for The First Chapter due for the 1st quarter of 2024.
Now in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com, Ravensburger has updated that the reprint will ready earlier than expected!
The reprint “is expected to be available by Holiday 2023 in North America and by January 2024 in Europe.” and it will include products from The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn, confirming the reprint of Rise of the Floodborn before it is even released.
The reprint will include both starter decks and booster packs, and is aimed at addressing the increased demand in Disney Lorcana.
Details on quantity size of the reprint cannot be discussed but Ryan Miller, Senior Brand Manager and Disney Lorcana TCG co-designer, stated that their “goal has always been to get as much product into the hands of fans as possible, and we are continuing to work with our suppliers to increase production to better meet demand as quickly as possible”. Furthermore, supporting “Independent Hobby retailers with Disney Lorcana TCG continues to be our #1 priority”.
This is great news for all Disney Lorcana fans as many players and collectors have been searching for stock, with prices on secondary markets going over double of MSRP, and we hope that everyone who is looking to buy any products will be able to get their hands on them soon!
