TAK Games, organized play event management based in Australia has just announced the Disney Lorcana Challenge for Melbourne in February 2025. Here’s everything that we know!
Event Description
Illumineers of Oceania, rejoice! It’s time to join the Disney Lorcana Challenge series for the inaugural event in the Oceania region! Illumineers from across Australia and New Zealand will gather at Marvel Stadium Victory Room on February 1st – 2nd, 2025 to compete for the title of the Disney Lorcana Champion and exciting prizes! Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of magic and adventure, with a weekend filled with exciting activities, challenges and surprises inspired by your favourite Disney characters.

Secure your spot in the tournament by pre-registering online. This is a ticketed event and you must have a competitor or attendee badge to enter the venue.

Venue: Marvel Stadium Victory Room (740 Bourke Street, Docklands VIC)
Date: 1 & 2 February 2025
Tickets go on sale on 9AM AEDT Monday 16th December
Tournament Structure
This is a core constructed event. Each qualifying round is a 2-game match. The Top Cut rounds will be best of 3, single elimination matches.
Players will compete in 9 swiss rounds of Core Constructed, 2-game format, followed by a best-of-3 Top 64 on day 2 to earn prizes and the prestige of becoming the Disney Lorcana Challenge Melbourne Champion!

- Illustrator Meet & Greet – Get an autograph from a beloved Illustrator of the Disney Lorcana card art (artist to be announced!)
