Block off your dates, multiple Disney Lorcana Challenge events have been announced for North America and Europe!
North America:
- Atlanta, Georgia: May 25-26, 2024
- Chicago, Illinois: June 8-9, 2024

- Lille, France: May 25-26, 2024
- Bochum, Germany: July 6-7, 2024

Event Details
Here are the event details of the European Challenge taken from the Tournament Center site.
Saturday:
Start time: 09:00
9 rounds of Swiss*
Games will be played in 2-game Constructed Swiss
End of the day the Top-32 players will proceed to Top Cut.
Sunday:
Start Time: 09:00
Top 32 players Single Elimination
Day-2 games will be played in Best-Of-3 Rounds
Participation fee: €50
Pre-registration is required to participate in the main event.
The site also mentions side events, vendors and other activities, though more details will be provided at a later date. Entry into the venue is free for visitors.
2-Game Match Format
The 2-Game Match format is a new way to play Swiss for Disney Lorcana! In this format, the focus will be on playing for points, rather than playing to win matches which also reduces the impact of winning or losing the initial dice roll.
2-Game Match Rounds consist of the following rules:
- A round is 2 games long or until time is called. (following the standard end-of-round procedures)
- A player earns 1 point for their ranking per game they win in the round.
- If a player wins both games, they earn an additional bonus point for a total of 3 points in the round.
- At the start of the match a die is rolled, the winner of this roll, decides whether they want to start game 1 or game 2 of their match. The other player will start the match that is not selected by the winner of the die roll.
Points awarded for each 2-Game match round:
- 2 Wins: 3 points
- 1 Win each (Tie): 1 point
- 0 Win: 0 points
