After asking for 2 years, we finally get the first hints of Mushu!! Also many more characters incoming for Archazia’s Island!
Articles just dropped from places like Comicbook, the official resource page got updated and we got product images, key art and lots more!
First up, we have the key art! Lots of characters are shown here, including
- What appears to be an original Lorcana bird-like character with the mask in the middle
- Belle and the Beast in the left background (Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts following behind)
- A squirrel on the path above them (Bucky making a return?)
- Martin with Alice in the left foreground
- Pongo leading a group of pups on the right foreground
- Mulan, Yao, Chien-Po and Ling in the right background
And wait….
Is that Mushu hitching a ride on Mulan’s arm?!?
Long time readers will know that I have been hoping for Mushu ever since The First Chapter, even resorting to fan art over 2 years ago, and it looks like Mushu is finally making his grand appearance! This pleases me massively! Now I’m just hoping to get like, at least 3 versions of Mushu to reward all Mushu fans for their patience.
Now, on to the other good stuff, let’s check out the product images!
First we have the booster pack, which features Bolt as we already knew, but also shows us more characters including
- Belle (An explorer?)
- Mirabel
- Mad Hatter
- Iago
For the single-player decks (previously named starter decks), we also get to see
- Beast
- Jafar (different from the previous art we got)
Trove’s packaging shares the same group of characters
With a focus on pets, this set is looking to be a very interesting set with lots of great pets to look forward to.
Will we be getting an awesome Iago to play with?
Is Beast… considered Belle’s pet?!
Will the Dalmatian Puppy – Tail Wagger madness carry on?!
Will Mushu dominate the meta?!?
Archazia’s Island set of characters revealed so far looks extremely promising and I am totally looking forward to getting lots more news!
