Soon all your favourite Disney Lorcana cards will be coming in Chinese! Maybe we can get Mushu now?
Last week, Disney Lorcana launched 3 China based official marketing channels, and on them announced the official Chinese name for Disney Lorcana, 迪士尼洛卡纳!
The 3 channels are located on the following platforms:
These platforms are akin to Mainland China’s versions of Instagram, Facebook & YouTube both in terms of how they function and their outreach.
An initial post has been made on both Xiaohongshu and Weibo, though there is currently no video content available yet on bilibili.
The posts focus on world building for Disney Lorcana and are marketing based in general, with currently no details mentioned yet for a release date. However with the Chinese name and launch of social media channels, it is expected that a Simplified Chinese version of the game will be releasing soon. Looks like we will be getting some Chinese Illumineers joining us soon!
